In other news: we are the proud new owners of a Mercedes-Benz Turbo Diesel that has celebrated nearly the amount of birthdays as I. My husband will proudly run it off biodiesel. This development will call for the separation of me and my beloved Jetta. Times change us.

Tonight we had dinner with friends we like. A lot. Friends who are willing to be the first visitors to sit on our construction-cone orange kitchen chairs and fill our small apartment with community. Walk our sidewalks with us. Pet our cat. Friends who, on occasion, give the feeling of family.
