…and we are here

stairwell accompaniment:The Beatles

The past two mornings Josh has been on campus meeting with professors and learning about the program. I suppose I could have gone with him. I submitted that I am on Spring Break. That means I’ve had time to roam and drink coffee at tiny coffee shops. Drive around and check out housing. Act like a local. Soak up the sun. Enjoy their good radio stations. And post pictures for you.
Today we are doing the big hike…the one where we’ll end up 2 miles high.
We have not had a day below 65 degrees. Not a day with clouds.

Schmanda, you would love it here because there is abundant rock face…free to climb. And yes, you’ll be sub-amateur:)
Leslie, you would love it here because there is great underground art.
Dad, you would love it because you can ride your bike ANYWHERE and everyone does.
Mom, you would love it because it’s SO DRY. My normally oily face is strangely raisin-esque. No humidity means good hair.
Amy, you would love it because there are moms with strollers everywhere. During the day the parks are full of babies and moms and sunshine. And they have Whole Foods and Wild Oats.
Candie and Gary, you would love it because it’s great camping. Great.
Huster, you would love it because there are book stores on every corner…and we are here:)
